Pre Strike

Show season brings the thrill of getting our horses ready to compete.

Unfortunately for many of us, riding well in public is a difficult to reach. At home, our equine friend is brilliant, but in a tense spectacle. The horse either by acts or loses flexibility and our performance is far from what we could achieve. In place of entertainment, competition becomes a frustrating disappointment.

Show anxiety

The nerves made it impossible to withstand even a week before the event: I released them all! On the day of show, when I entered the ring of panic and say to me it "makes no sense, I'll make a mess, let's finish this." With the predictable result that toppled show-jumping, won multiple denials between countries and could not strike Canter-offs in my tests of dressage. I had no faith in myself - that was ridiculous because physically my horse and I had adequately prepared and should have done well.

Addressing the mental aspect

Until we resolve the mental side of the equation of sports, I never compete for the best of my ability.

In desperation, I visited a hypnotist. He taught me the following simple but effective, method of over-coming my self-destructive behavior. Once I used your techniques, show improvements in the performance of my huge and as a result, so did my confidence. I started winning.
