Spindle Pulley

There is a lot of terminology to learn if you're a mountain biking enthusiast. These enthusiasts have their own language, what with "face plants, boing, boing, drillium and wild pig. "

However, there is also cycling terminology remains the same, regardless of age user, and that is the terms used for individual parts of the bicycle. It is important to know these too.

1. Bottom Bracket - a circular hole in the bottom frame of the bicycle, used to attach the plate.

2. Brake cable - The cable that connects the brake lever with the brake mechanism.

3. Brake lever - lever on the handlebar to activate the brakes. The left lever controls the front brake, right lever controls the rear brake.

4. - All of the metal link chain that transfers power circular ring chain gears. There are two types of bicycle chains: cap and bushingless.

5. Plato - Part of the cranks. A gear or gear that is attached to the handle and holds the chain. Bikes can have two to three dishes.

6. Crank - Part of the cranks. The lever or "arm" that connects the pedal to the bottom bracket.

7. Change - The device that moves the chain from one plate to another inorder to shift gears.

8. Down tube - Part of the plot. The tube that extends diagonally from the head tube (with support for the handlebars) to the bottom bracket. Above this is the top tube, that goes from the steering tube to the seat.

9. Frontal impact - A suspension system on the front fork, which allows the bike to absorb shocks without transmission to the rider.

10. Handlebar - The horizontal bar at the front of the bike that is used to steer and containing the controls and levers rest and any other items you want to have a cyclist at your fingertips.

11. Headset - The device that houses the bearings that allows the handlebars and front wheel to rotate as part of a bicycle. There are two types of the headset, the thread and the thread.

12. Hub - The central part of the bicycle wheel, which consists of a shaft and bearings ball to allow the wheel to move easily. In addition, rays radiating from the center of the rim of the bicycle.

13. A pulley Idler pulley-making strain chain in order to maintain the force at all times.

14. Nipple - The small cylinders threaded into the rim of the bicycle, certainly a ray of the rim.

15. Pedal - A short metal bar in which to tread, in order to promote cycling. The pedal is attached to the handle. The pedals can be simple or come attached with clips in which put your shoes to increase leverage.

16. Rear Shock - In a full suspension bike, the shock-absorbing device of the rear wheel.

17. Rim - The metal ring that is mounted to the bicycle tire, and that the breaks apply force. The inside of the tire has the spokes that give strength to the rim.

18. Saddle - Also called the seat. Something to sit!

19. Seat Post - The tubular support which is connected to the chair. This tube placed in the seat tube, and can increase or decrease depending on the rider.

20. Skewer - A metal bar that attaches the wheel to the bicycle frame. Lighting one extreme is a nut to hold the skewer of insurance, the other is the release mechanism, which is guaranteed both by the release of a "fast" alternating, or with screws.

21. Spindle - Part of the bottom bracket. The axis of free rotation for the crank arms attach.

22. Radios - Cables thick connecting the center of the rim. The number of radios to determine how hard the tire is. Radios can also be arranged in different patterns, which affect the torque and braking forces.

23. - Stop the metal piece that attaches the handlebars to the steerer.

24. Wheel hub - See the hub.
